Tarryn Thomas graduated from Rhodes University, Grahamstown (East London Campus) in 2006. She has a Humanities degree in Social Science, majoring in Economics and Information Systems.

With five years of copy editing at a national magazine under her belt, she has also remotely interned with a publisher in Brooklyn, New York. She specialises in everything related to English prose, editing for style and grammar across multiple formats.

She has volunteered for Distributed Proofreaders, proofing and formatting for Project Gutenberg, as well as at a vintage gaming website, checking reviews.

Her favourite genres are science fiction and historical murder mysteries. In her free time she beta reads novels and reads slush, and weaves handmade jewellery.
